ABOUT

Palm Palm is a collection of friends lovingly daydreamed and stitched into life by me, Betty Freewoman, in my studio in west Australia. Each toy is made using the best natural materials available. They are made with silk, cotton, linen, wool, hemp, cashmere and mohair to name a few.

To ensure that each toy is safe for children and adults to cuddle up close to, they are stuffed with corn fibre, a natural material which has a low flammability rating, is naturally hypoallergenic and antibacterial. 

Most are made in small collections as well as a small number of one off pieces. Each is unique and has its own character and personality. 

Palm Palm endeavors to provide an antidote to the increasingly throwaway monoculture that is offered in mainstream toy stores. Here at Palm Palm we believe that one very special toy can be of far greater value to its owner then a room full of mass produced plastic. Palm Palm toys are made to last.
